VIVID - лош опит с платформата

За съжаление ще кажа, че платформата "вивид" - VIVID (https://vivid.money/) се представи доста зле пред мен. Въпросната платформа си партнира с германската банка Соларис банк - Solarisbank (https://www.solarisgroup.com/en/support/vivid-money/). 

Идеята да използвам приложението VIVID дойде от там, че то много наподобява това на Revolut. Дори и с някои предимства - например кешбекът при пазаруване. 

Червената лампичка светна за първи път, когато си поръчах дебитната им карта. В продължение на половин година тя не пристигна и връзката със служителите на вивид беше лоша. 

Това, за което ползвах VIVID беше покупката на криптовалути. Приложението разполага с богато портфолио от възможности в тази област. Макар таксите да са високи, все пак реших да го изпробвам с прилична сума пари. 

Изведнъж съвсем случайно в спам - папката на gmail-акаунта си видях няколко последователно изпратени писма от vivid, в които ме уведомяват, че трябва да докажа произхода на доходите си. В едно от тези "спам" писма пишеше, че акаунтът ми ще бъде закрит на еди-коя си дата след няколко месеца. 

Веднага се свързах с VIVID и им изпратих необходимите документи, като те ме увериха, че всичко е наред с акаунта ми и той няма да бъде закрит. 

За съжаление обаче - акаунтът беше закрит. Средствата, които имах в него не бяха възстановени. 

Кореспонденцията с vivid и solarisbank е бавна, а служителите непрестанно си прехвърлят отговорността. 

Вече няколко месеца разменяме писма, за съжаление - без удовлетворяващ отговор. 

Компаниите не допускат повторно отваряне на акаунта ми.

Изпратих няколко писма до Европейския Банков Орган (European Banking Authority - EBA), както и до германския - Федерален орган за Финансов надзор BaFin. 

Не препоръчвам използването на VIVID.

The idea to use the VIVID app came from the fact that it is very similar to that of Revolut. Even with some advantages - for example, cashback when shopping.

The red light came on the first time I ordered their debit card. For half a year she did not arrive and the relationship with vivid employees was poor.

What I used VIVID for was buying cryptocurrencies. The application has a rich portfolio of capabilities in this area. Although the fees are high, I still decided to give it a try with a decent amount of money.

Suddenly, quite by chance, in the spam folder of my gmail account, I saw several consecutive letters sent by vivid, informing me that I need to prove the origin of my income. One of these "spam" letters said that my account would be closed on a certain date in a few months.

I immediately contacted VIVID and sent them the necessary documents and they assured me that everything was fine with my account and it would not be closed.

Unfortunately, however - the account was closed. The funds I had in it were not recovered.

Correspondence with vivid and solarisbank is slow, and employees constantly shift responsibility.

We have been exchanging letters for several months now, unfortunately - without a satisfactory answer.

Companies are not allowing my account to be reopened.

I sent several letters to the European Banking Authority (EBA) as well as to the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority BaFin.

I do not recommend using VIVID.

Huge cash withdrawal fees

I am quite disappointed with vivid and their fees mostly. As a basic account I was charged 3% cash withdrawal fee for everything above 200 euro (I got 2500 euro). I overlooked this fee in the conditions, so this is my bad. But it does not make sense to me to be charged such a huge fee for using my own money.

I want to highlight that this was not a fee by the ATM provider (in these cases you get a warning at the time of withdrawal).

In addition, I have had some issues several times with login as well, including vivid app forgeting my touch login. However, it is really this fee that made me close my account. After all, there are plenty of competitive providers out there.

Total scam

Total scam, after reading my last review here they contacted trying for an attempt to delete my review with bunch of fake promises like saying that the refund won’t take more than 14 days. Instead they kept telling that the refund will be done soon every few days for more than 3 months and ended up blocking my email eventually. I was never told why my account was blocked nor why the refund for the money I have there is taking forever.

If you’re thinking of opening an account with them don’t! If you already have an account transfer your funds somewhere else asap they are not trust worthy!

The worst bank ever

It’s a terrible bank, they’re literally scammers, can’t believe my account got blocked for no reason and my money are being retained. Is it even legal? They’ve been “investigating” the issue for 3 weeks already and keep saying nothing but “we’re sorry, we understand your frustration” blah blah. What kind of bank investigates money issues for three weeks? Maybe I depend on the money you’ve blocked! Ridiculous! I’m not going to either use or advise your lame bank to anyone, return my money immediately!!!!

My account was terminated even before I…

My account was terminated even before I received my card and was able to make the first transaction.

So before I did anything with my account, they chose to terminate my account without explanation. Thank god I did not have any money on there or I'm sure I wouldn't have it today.

Support was of absolutely no help, they simply said that because of security reasons they cannot provide me the service.

"Security"? I have never done anything wrong + I have accounts with other (major) banks that have no problems with me.

Vivid is a very shady company.

EDIT: Their answer states "Such actions are always taken based on our internal policies." What a bunch of nonsense. Without having done a single transaction, they have decided that based on their internal policies, they should suspend me.

Refund rejection

On 11.07.2022, a transaction was made from my card without my permission and while I had my card. Today Vivid said that it was me who authorized the transaction and therefore I can’t get a refund. However I didn’t give permission to this transaction and Vivid wouldn’t listen to me about it. I know it happened because I received an SMS from Vivid but they wouldn’t acknowledge the fact that they sent the SMS. So now I can’t get a refund because of their fault and they refuse to give my money back which I didn’t spend!

"Dear Mr. Tsvetanov, thank you for your message. We offer our greatest apologies for the belated reply. We have checked your case internally and can give you the following feedback.  We regret the erroneous closure of your account. Please note that an account closure cannot be reversed. Therefore we invite you to reopen a new account at Vivid.  If you should experience any issues, please contact us again as a reply to this email.   Many thanks and kind regards,  Solaris Customer Support"

На това писмо отговорих така "Hello.  If I reopen a Vivid account - will you refund my closed account? "
  • Изпратих и запитване до VIVID, като прикачих скрийншот от писмото на Соларис: 
"Hello.  Solarisbank contacted me and told me I can open a new Vivid account.  My question is - can I really do it?  if yes - can I use the same phone number and email as the closed account?  And one more question - will the funds be transferred from my old account to my new account?
I am sending you as an attachment the email from solarisbank that I received today."

I'll update you with more information as soon as I have it.Regarding your funds on the Crypto Pocket, my colleagues have raised a ticket on 14.07.2022 so the money can be transferred to an external account. I have escalated the ticket so the designated team transfer the money as soon as possible. You should also be able to sell your Crypto positions yourself. If I can do something to help, please let me know immediately and I’ll be there for you.If everything is in order, I’d kindly invite you to update your review to reflect the current situation of your account. Apologies for the confusion. Vivid will inform you about the further steps.Regarding your refund, we are not able to comprehend your concern. An account closure can solely be processed when an account has a 0 balance. Therefore there were no more funds on your account.If you are referring to Stock rewards or similar, pease direct your request to Vivid as these are products are offered solely by Vivid.Kind regards,Solaris Customer Support"

I want to share with you my concerns about two things: First: My account has been mistakenly closed by Solarisbank and this is negatively affecting my cryptocurrency investments. It's sad! Second: I still can't log into my VIVID account. I enter an email, enter a password and... I get the message "Account closed". Why can't I still log into my account? Solarisbank told me my account is open. You (VIVID) tell me the same thing. But my account is still unavailable. Why?"

Акаунтът е пуснат от няколко дни. Позициите в криптото са възстановени така, както си бяха. Засега всичко е наред.
